ROLL CALL Present upon roll call: Lawrence A. Pairitz, Fire Chief/Presisident Richard L. Jesse, Treasurer Ron Olsen, Firefighter Del Ulreich, Firefighter Alan Labbe, Firefighter Carol A. Fields, Village Clerk/Secretary Absent: Carolyn H. Krause, Mayor George Cullens, Retired Firefighter Village Attorney REQUEST FOR RETIREMENT BENEFITS A request has been submitted by Deputy Fire Chief James Hilliger for retirement benefits, following 22 years of service with the Mount Prospect Fire Department and having attained the age of 50 on January 26, 1983. Based on 22 years, 5 months and 7 days of service, the monthly retirement benefit will be $1,921.86, based on the following calculations: Base salary $41,359.00 Longevity 700.00 $42,059.00 Monthly $3,504.92 Monthly salary of $3,504.92 x 50% for 20 years of service $1,752.46 Additional amount for months of service over 20 years @ 1,/2 of 2%: 29 months @ .00166667 = .048333 x monthly salary of $3,504.92 169.40 Total monthly pension' $1,921.86 Del Ulreich, seconded by Allen Labbe, moved to grant the retirement benefits requested by Deputy Chief Hilliger and authorized a monthly pension of $1,921.86y effective June 7, 1985. Upon roll call: Ayes: Pairitz, Jesse, Olsen, Ulreich, Labbe, Fields Nays: None Motion carried. Fir_emens Pension Board May 30, 1985 Page 2 of 2 A request was also received for membership in the Mount Prospect Firemens Pension Fund from Firefighter/Paramedic Recruit Henry Dawson. The medical report received for Henry Dawson was reviewed. Del Ulreich, seconded by Richard Jesse, moved to accept the application for membership in the Fund as requested by Henry Dawson, effective May 28, 1985. Upon roll call: Ayes: Pairitz, Jesse, Olsen, Ulreich, Labbe, Fields Nays: None Motion carried. AJOURN Richard Jesse, seconded by Alan Labbe, moved to adjourn the meeting.
