ROLL CALL Present upon roll call: Chief Lawrence A. Pairitz, President Carolyn H. Krause, Mayor Lt. Donald E. Barra, Firefighter Ronald Olsen, Firefighter George Cullens, Retired Firefighter Carol A. Fields, Village Clerk/Secretary Del Ulreich, 'Firefighter (who arrived late-) Absent: Richard L. Jesse, Treasurer Village Attorney, APPROVAL OF MINUTES Lt. Barra,seconded by George Cullens, moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held January 16, 1984 Upon roll call: Ayes: Unanimous Motion carried. There was discussion as to how the calculations for pension payments are determined.' Recently Firefighter Charles Forton was granted` a retirement pension, based upon having attained the; age of 50 and having served 20 years on the Mount'Prospect'Fire Department. Lt. Barra, seconded by Del'Ulreich, moved to acknowledge the election 'results and with Ronald Olsen having received the largest number of votes to 'declare Ronald Olsen the winner of the election for active member', and to declare George Cullens the duly elected retired member. Upon roll call: Ayes: Unanimous Motion carried. These members took their seats on the Board, whichterms A` are for a three ( 3 ) year .period . An application for membership in the Mount Prospect Firemens'' Pension Fund had been submitted by Michael Figolah`. Lt. Barra, seconded by Ron Olsen, moved to accept Michael Figolah into .the Fund and authorized the 'treasurer to make the necessarydeductions from his salary. Upon roll call: Ayes: Unanimous Motion carried. It was discussed that in the future, the Pension Board should call a Special' Meeting in order to consider applications for membership in the Fundsince payroll deductions are made for pension contributions prior to official acceptance into the Fund. Del Ulreich, seconded by Lt. Barra, moved to establish the policy of having the Mount Prospect,Firemens' Pension Fund Board considering applications for membership in the ,Fund
