MOUNT PROSPECT FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND BOARD
JULY 18, 1983
CALL TO ORDER
Board President Pairitz called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.
ROLL CALL
Present upon roll call: Fire Chief Lawrence A. Pairitz, President
Richard L. Jesse, Treasurer
Lt. Donald Barra, Firefighter
Ron Olson, Firefighter
Carol A. Fields, Village Clerk/Secretary
Absent: Carolyn Krause, Mayor
George Cullens, Retired Firefighter
Del Ulreich, Firefighter
Village Attorney
APPROVE MINUTES
Richard Jesse, seconded by Lt. Barra, moved to approve the
minutes of the last regular meeting of the Pension Fund
Board held April 18, 1983.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Pairitz, Jesse, Barra, Olson,
Fields
Nays: None
Motion carried.
Lt. Barra, seconded by Richard Jesse, moved to approve the
minutes of the special meeting of the Pension Fund Board
held June 23, 1983.
Upon roll call: Ayes:
Nays:
Motion carried.

ANNUAL ELECTION OF OFFICERS
The President requested nominations for the position of
President of the Fund for the upcoming year.
Lt. Barra, seconded by Richard Jesse, submitted the name
of Chief Pairitz for the position of President of the Fund.
No further nominations were submitted, and it was declared
that nominations were closed.
Upon roll call on'the election of Chief Lawrence A. Pairitz
for the position of President, the vote was unanmious in
favor.
The President then requested nominations for the position
of Secretary of the Fund for the upcoming year.
Richard Jesse, seconded by Lt. Barra, nominated Carol Fields

1 for the position of Secretary of the Fund. There being
no further nominations, the President declared the
i floor closed to nominations.

Upon roll call on the motion to elect Carol Fields to
the position of Secretary, the motion carried unanimously.
TREASURER'S REPORT'
Treasurer Richard Jesse presented the financial report of
r the Fund.
Carol Fields, seconded by Ron Olson, moved to accept the
financial report dated June 30, 1983, subject to audit.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Pairitz, Jesse, Barra, Olson,
Fields
Nays: None
Motion carried.,

Lt. Barra, seconded by Ron Olson, moved to adjourn the
meeting.
