MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
MOUNT PROSPECT FIREMENS PENSION FUND BOARD
JUNE 14, 1988
CALL TO ORDER
President Cavello called the meeting to order at 8:32 A.M.
ROLL CALL
Present upon roll call: Chief Edward Cavello, President
Richard Jesse, Treasurer/Comptroller
Randy Werderitch, Firefighter
Donald Barra, Retired Firefighter
Carol Fields, Village Clerk/Secretary
REQUEST FOR DUTY INCURRED DISABILITY PENSION: MARK BAUER
A request has been received from Mark Bauer for a duty incurred
disability pension. In line with the procedures of the Board,
the Medical Committee was assigned the responsibility of having
Mark Bauer obtain the medical opinions of two neurologists. It
was the decision of the Board to accept the medical opinion of
Mark Bauer's physician.
President Cavello stated that the Medical Committee is comprised
of Donald Barra, Chairman, Randy Werderitch and Brian Ipsen.
Stuart McKillop was appointed to the Finance Committee.
There was discussion as to whether the Schwab Clinic should be
used as one of the physicians. The decision on this matter was
left to the Medical Committee.
Upon the receipt of the medical opinions, and upon review by the
Medical Committee, a decision on the application will be made by
the entire Board.
ADJOURNMENT
Richard Jesse, seconded by Donald Barra, moved to adjourn the
meeting.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Unanimous
Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 A.M.
