BUSINESS A regeest from Mrs. Niebuhr, 906 S. SeeGwun Avenue the installation of a 4-A" STOP to control speeding he intersection of SeeGwUn Ave weand Sunset Road was ewed. Presently east and West'b'ound Sunset Road has a Y STOP at SeeGwun Avenue which has a 25 MPH speed limit is designed a collector street. Tom Daley informed the ission that this intersection was monitored for three last month ;with no serious speeding violations observed. Johanson, stated that there was only one reported Sent at this intersection in ,the last 3 years.' After her discussion a motion by Commissioner Beening, Seconded am Daley was made to recommend denial of .the request for AAY STOP at the intersection of Sunset Road and SeeGwun .ie. Commissioner Beening, further recommended additional 3 limit signs be installed on SeeGwun Avenue. )n was passed unanimously. B. A request from Mr. Fuchs,1104 Sycamore Lane for the removal of the school day parking>re'striction and the school crossing sign at the intersection of Ironwood Drive,, and Sycamore Lane was reviewed. Commissioner Beening stated that although Feehanville School is no longer open, school children still cross at this location to use the school' playground.' Other children also walk in this area to attend the Jr. High School which is still open. A motion by Commissioner Beening seconded ,by James Hilliger was made to recommend denial of the request for the removal of the school crossing signs and to recommend the removal of the school parking restrictions at the intersection of Ironwood Dr. and Sycamore Lane.
