II. ROLL CALL Present upon roll call: Andrew Mitchell, Chairman Art Coy, Vice Chairman Lee Beening, Secretary Jackie Franks Also present: James Hilliger, Fire Department Tom Daley, Police Department Drew Johanson, Engineering Division III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Commissioner Beening, seconded by Commissioner Coy, moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of the Safety Commission held January 4, 1982. IV. V VII. Motion was passed unanimously. OLD .BUSINESS A request from -Mrs. Robert H'edwick, 111 S. Weller WELLER LN. Lane, to prohibit parking on the east side of Weller Lane was reviewed. After considering the matter at the January meeting and finding more information was needed, the necessary traffic study was completed. After discussion, a motion was made by''Commissioner Coy and seconded by Tom Daley that no action be taken. Motion was passed unanimously. NEW BUSINESS A request from an anonymous resident for stop YATES & signs at the intersection of Yates Lane and THAYER Thayer Street was reviewed. After discussion, including the unobstructed view at all approaches and the report of only three accidents since January 1979, Commissioner Coy, seconded by Commissioner Franks, moved that no action be taken.
