MT, PROSPECT SAFETY COMMISSION
Minutes
January 7, 1980
The regular monthly meeting of the Mt. Prospect Safety`
Commission was held in the Village Hall on January 7, 1980.
Chairman Art Coy called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m.
Members in attendance were Harold Abramowski, Andy Mitchell,
Village Engineer Ben Hemmeter, and Police Officer Robert
Barone.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
1. Hatlen Street 100 Block: Six area residents,were at the
meeting and brought to the Commission's attention the number
of cars running off the road and across their lawns, hitting
trees and the fire hydrant due to the sharp curve in the
middle of the block. After discussion with the residents,
the Commission will investigate and take action at the next
meeting.
2. As a fact of record, the Commission wishes to state that
the membership of this Commission has a combined total of
approximately 65 years of experience in the field'of Traffic
Engineering and Safety.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
