ORDINANCE NO. 2259
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15.1912 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENI' AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VIILAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY. ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Municipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect
of 1957, as amended, is hereby further amended so that subsection (a)
of Section 15.1912 shall be and read as follows:
"(a) Prevailing rates within the Village limits of Mount Prospect
are as follows:
(1) 45~ for the first two-fifths of a mile or fraction
thereof for one passenger;
(2) 10~ for each additional one-fifth mile or fraction
thereof for the first mile for one passenger;
(3) 10~ for each additional one-sixth mile or fraction
thereof over and above the first mile for one passenger;
( 4 ) 10~ for each one and one-half minute waiting time or
traffic delay;
(5) 10~ for each additional passenger above the age of
twelve years for the entire trip;
(6) 25~ service charge isaadded to the above rates for
parcel delivery and the handling of all items other
than nonnal luggage;
(7) 50cj; service charge is added to the above rates for
all trips which do not orginate or terminate
wi thin the Village limits of Mount Prospect."
SECTION TWO: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION THREE: That this ordinance shall be in full forve and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner
prescribed by law.
