AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 ENTITLED
'TRAFFIC CODE' OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 18.2004.A entitled "Schedule IV - Stop and Yield Signs" of
Chapter 18 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further
amended by adding thereto in proper alphabetical sequence "Forest Ave - Northbound -
Isabella St."; so that hereafter said Section 18.2004.A shall include the following:
"Name of Direction of
Street Traffic At Intersection With
Forest Ave. Northbound Isabella St."
SECTION TWO: That Section 18.2005 entitled "Schedule V- No Stopping, Standing Or
Parking" of Chapter 18 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby
further amended to add in proper alphabetical sequence "Isabella St. - South - 8:30 AM -
4:00 PM ~ Btw. Fairview Ave. and Oak St. "and "Isabella St. - North - 8:30 AM ~ 4:00 PM -
Btw. Drop-Off Driveways" -; so that hereafter said Section 18.2005 of Chapter 18 of the
Village Code of Mount Prospect shall include the following:
"Name of Side of Between
Street Street Hours of Description
Isabella St. South 8:30 AM - 4 PM Btw. Fairview Ave and
Oak St.
Isabella St. North 8:30 AM - 4 PM Btw. Drop-Off Driveways"
SECTION THREE: That Section 18.2011 entitled "Schedule XI - Two Hour Parking~ of
Chapter 18 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further
amended by adding thereto in proper alphabetical sequence "Evergreen Ave. - South -
The first 150 ft. east of Pine St."; so that hereafter said Section 18.2011 shall include the
following:
"Name of Side of
Street Street Description
Evergreen Ave. South The first 150 feet east of Pine St."
SECTION FOUR: That Section 18.2014 entitled "Schedule XIV- Fire Lanes" of Chapter
18 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further amended by
adding thereto in alphabetical sequence "200 South Wille Street - The east side of Pine

Street between Evergreen and a point 100 feet south thereof; the south side of Evergreen
between Wille Street and a point 165 feet west thereof; and the west side of Wille Street
first 40 feet south of Evergreen Avenue and between a point 140 feet and 160 feet south
of Evergreen Avenue"; so that hereafter said Section 18.2014 shall include the following
" 200 SOUTH WILLE STREET - St. Mark Lutheran Church
The east side of Pine Street between Evergreen and a point 100 feet south thereof;
the south side of Evergreen between Wille Street and a point 165 feet west thereof;
and the west side of Wille Street first 40 feet south of Evergreen Avenue and
between a point 140 feet and 160 feet south of Evergreen Avenue."
SECTION SIX: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
