ORDINANCE NO. 2210 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 17N OF THE MOUNT PROSPEcr ZONING ORDINANCE 1NHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect heretofore on October 17, 1969, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. conducted a public hearing under Case No. 69-33P on a request for a zoning classification change from R-l (Single Family Residence District) to P--3 (Business - Retail and Service District) for certain parcels of property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid hearing was made in the manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of ,the Village of Mount Prospect did meet on December 11, 1969, and did review Case No. 69-33P; and WHEREAS, the said Judiciary Committee has recommended to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect the rezoning of the subject property herein to B-2 (Business - Office District); and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the said Judiciary Committee recommendation on Case No. 69-33P, regarding the subject property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF f/lOUNT PROSPEGr, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That Map 17N of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassi- fying from R-l (Single Family Residence District) to B-2 (Business - Office District) the following described property: The South 176 feet of the North 462 feet (except the East 400 feet thereof) of that part of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 34, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying East of Rand Road in Cook County, Illinois. SEGrION TWO: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in th~ manner provided by law.
