ORDINANCE NO. 2311
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.207 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 2.207 of the Municipal Code
of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, be and the same
is hereby further amended by eliminating the need for
the presence of a majority of Trustees and by substitut-
ing therefor the majority of the corporate authorities
to constitute a quorum to do business; so that the said
Section 2.207 shall hereafter be and read as follows:
"Section 2.207. Quorum. A majority of the
President and Board of Trustees shall con-
stitute a quorum to do business and to pass
all ordinances, resolutions, and motions."
SECTION TWO: That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval, and
publication in the manner provided by law.
