ORDINANCE NO. 2284
M~ ORDINN~CE A~ffiNDING SCHEDULES II AND III OF THE
MOUNT PROSPECT TRAFFIC CODE
WhEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of f10unt
Prospect have caused a traffic survey of this Village to be made,
wl1ich survey is entitled "Traffic Safety And Traffic Control Studies,
Village of l'!iount Prospect, Illinois, March) 19701~; and
WHEREAS) the Safety Commission of the Village of ~lount Prospect has
reviewed the said traffic survey and made certain of its own recommenda-
tions thereon; and
WHEREAS) the Public .Health and Safety Committee of the Board of Trustees
of the Village of IJlount Prospect did meet wi th the said Safety Com.rnis-
sion and have reviewed the recommendations thereof; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have made additional efforts to implement the abovementioned
recommendations as well as other actions of their own; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of j\1ount
Prospect deem this ordinance to be in the best interests of the Village
of Mount Prospect~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT fu~D BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That page 2 of Schedule II of Chapter 18 (the Traffic
COGe) of t}1C Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957) as amended:;
be and the same is hereby further amended so that hereafter the said

SECTION TWO: That Schedule III of Chapter 18 (the Traffic Code) of
the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957) as amended~ be and the
same is hereby further amended so that the said Schedule III shall
be and read as follows:

only in the direction indicated upon t.he follolrling streets; except that
'where "school hours" is described such streets shall be one-\'ray between t.1"e
