ORDINANCE NO. 2366
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11.703 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 11.703 of Chapter 11 (Business Licens-
ling Code) of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, as
amended, be and the same is hereby further amended in its entiret
I by basing the fees for self-service dry cleaning and laundering
machines upon the floor area of the premises which they are locat d;
so that hereafter the said Section 11.703 shall be and read as

"Section 11.703
License Fees.
A.
Every applicant, before being granted a license shall pay
the following annual license fee for the privilege of
operating or maintaining for operation each cigarette
vending machine, juke box, or other mechanical coin-in-
slot device:
$25.00 per machine
$10.00 per machine
1. Cigarette Vending Machines
2. Juke Boxes
I 3. Food Vending Machines

a. l~ to 10~ candy, gum and nuts
b. All other such machines
$ 1.00 per machine
$10.00 per machine
4. Machines vending other
general merchandise
$10.00 per machine
Applicants for licenses for coin-in-slot self-service dry
cleaning machines, self-service laundering machines,
(whether washing machines or drying machines), shall pay
the annual fees as set forth in the schedules therefor in
Article XXXI of this Chapter."
SECTION TWO: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in
the manner provided by law.
