ORDINANCE NUMBER 2395
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13.115 OF THE
rvtUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 13.115 of the Municipal Code of
Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, is hereby further amended
by extending closing times on week nights one hour; so that
hereafter said Section 13.115 shall be and read as follows:
"Section 13.115. Closing Hours - Sunday Closing.
It shall be unlawful to sell or offer for sale any alcoholic
liquor at retail in the Village, or to permit any person to
consume any alcoholic liquor in or on any premises for which
a license providing for consumption on the premises has been
issued pursuant to this Chapter 13, between the hours of
two A.M. to six A.M. on Monday through Friday inclusive;
between the hours of three A.M. to six A.M. on Saturday; and
between the hours of three A.M. to twelve noon on Sunday;
and on January 1 of each year said closing hours shall be
from four A.M. to 12 noon."
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval, and pub-
lication in the manner provided by law.
