HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2399 11/21/1972 ORDINANCE NUMBER 2399 AN ORDINANCE MAKING CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO THE REGULATIONS GOVERNING ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR DEALERS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That Section 13.101 of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, be and the same is here- by further amended by adding thereto additional definitions for "Local Liquor Control Commissioner" and "Local Liquor Control Commission", which additional definitions shall be placed in said Section 13.101 in alphabetical order; so that hereafter the said definitions of "Local Liquor Control Com- missioner" and "Local Liquor Control Commission" shall be and read as follows: "Local Liquor Control Commissioner - The Mayor, or President of the Board of Trustees of the Village of f~ount Prospect, shall be the Local Liquor Control Commissioner for the Village of Mount Prospect. Local Liquor Control Commission - The Office of the Mayor, or the President of the Baord of Trustees of The Village of Mount Prospect, together with the Legal Department of the Village of Mount Prospect, as well as such other person or persons the M~yor may appoint to assist him in the exercise of the powers and the per- formance of the duties herein provided for such Local Liquor Control Commission." SECTION TWO: That Section 13.109 of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended (which Section 13.109 regards the listing of all outstanding liquor licenses), be and is hereby further amended in its entirety; so that hereafter said Section 13.109 shall be and read as follows: "Section 13.109 - Compensation and Duties of Local Liquor Control Commissioner A. The Local Liquor Control Commissioner shall receive as compensation the sum of $2,000 annually, payable in 12 equal monthly installments. B. The Local Liquor Control Commissioner shall have all of the powers, functions, and duties delegated to him through the Illinois Revised Statutes and the ordinances of the Village of Mount Prospect.
