AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18,
'TRAFFIC' OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS ACTING IN THE EXERCISE OF THEIR HOME RULE POWERS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 18.2017, "SCHEDULE XVII — RESTRICTED INTERSECTION
MOVEMENTS," of Chapter 18, "Traffic," of the Village Code, as amended, is further amended by inserting
the following:
"Intersection and Direction Restriction
Northbound traffic on Emerson Street at Central Road No through movement to
Emerson St."
SECTION TWO: That Section 18.2002, "SCHEDULE II — PROHIBITED TURNS," of Chapter
18, "Traffic," of the Village Code, as amended, is further amended by inserting the following:
"Name of Street
Central Road
Emerson St.
Direction of
Traffic Movement
Eastbound
Southbound
Prohibited Into
Turn (Name of Street) Central
Left Northbound Emerson
St.
Left
Eastbound Central
Rd."
SECTION THREE: That Section 18.2002, "SCHEDULE II — PROHIBITED TURNS." of Chapter 18,
"Traffic," of the Village Code, as amended, is further amended by repealing the following:
Direction of Prohibited Into
"Name of Street Traffic Movement Turn (Name of Street)
Emerson St. Northbound Left Central Rd. (4 P.M. to
6:30 P.M.)"
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication in the manner provided by law.
