HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2333 01/04/1972 ORDINANCE NO. 2333 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 7-S OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE WHEREAS, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. on October 15, 1971, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect conducted a public hearing under Case No. 7l-l7P requesting a zoning classification change from B-3 (Business - Retail and Service District) to B-4 (Business - Retail and Service Dis- trict) of a certain parcel of property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made in the manner provided by law and published in the September 28, 1971, edition of a newspaper of general circulation within the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect ori December 7, 1971, have reviewed Case No. 7l-l7P and have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission's recommendation on Case No. 7l-l7P regarding the subject property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PBESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That Map 7-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by reclassifying from B-3 (Business - Retail and Service District) to B-4 (Business - Retail and Service District) the following described property: Lots One (1), Two (2), Three (3), and Four (4) in Busse's Resubdivision of Lots One (1) to Six (6) inclusive of the Resubdivision of Lots One (1) to Six (6) inclusive in Block Four (4), also of Lots Two (2) and Three (3) in Block Five (5) all of Block Six (6), Lots Thirteen (13) to Twenty-four (24) inclusive in Block Seven (7), Lots Seventeen (17) to Twenty (20) in Block Eight (8) all in Meier's Addition to Mount Prospect, a Subdivision in the Northwest Quarter (1/4) of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois. SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be null and void and of no force and effect whatsoever, until after its passage, approval, publication, and such time as an accurate plat resubdividing the subject parcel des- cribed in SECTION ONE above is recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a copy of which plat of resubdivision shall be attached hereto and made a part hereof.
