HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2461 10/16/1973 ORDINANCE NO. 2461 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING SPECIAL USES FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF ELMHURST AND ALGONQUIN ROADS IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect held a special meeting on October 4, 1973, at the hour of 8: 00 p. m., in the Mount Prospect Village Hall pursuant to notice published in the manner provided by law; and " WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect heard t+st mony presented under Case No. ZBA-31-SU-73 pertaining to a request for certain special uses pursuant to the Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance to permit certain I uses upon the property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect has filed a report with the President and Board of Trustees recommending that such special uses be allowed for the reasons stated therein; and WHEREAS, said property has been annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect and duly classified in the B-4_J)istrict (Business -- Retail and Service); and H ! " WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect! have reviewed the said proposed special uses and have determined that the Ii same are in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUS1fEI OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That pursuant to the Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance, the following special uses are authorized on the property described in SECTION TWO hereinbelow: Multi-family Residential Dwelling Units for which there shall be provided no less than 2,500 square feet of lot area per such dwelling unit. SECTION TWO: That special uses authorized to be established in SECTION ONE above shall be valid and effective only upon the following property legally described as: The North 300 feet of the East 450 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois; which property has been zoned B-4 District (Business -- Retail and Service) which zoning classification shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law. AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 !
