OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE

HBE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
IIOF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

HSECTION ONE: That Section 11.1117 of the Municipal Code of 1957, as amended,
!lbe and the same is hereby further amended in its entirety by increasing the
!Itaxicab rates to ninety cents ($.90) for the first mile and seventy cents ($.70)
II for each additional mile; so that hereafter the said Section 11. 1117 shall be and
!ilread as follows:

"SECTION 11.1117. Taxicab Fares. Prevailing rates within the Village
of Mount Prospect are as follows:
A. Fifty-five cents ($.55) for the first one-half of a mile or fraction
thereof for one (1) passenger.

1.I,sECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
I its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.

B. Ten cents ($ .10) for each additional one-seventh mile or fraction
thereof for one (1) passenger.
C. Ten cents ($ .10) for each one and one-half minute waiting time or
traffic delay.
D. Ten cents ($ .10) for each additional passenger above the age of
twelve (12) years for the entire trip.
E. Twenty-five ($.25) service charge is added to the above rates
for parcel delivery and the handling of all items othr than normal
luggage.
F.
Fifty cents ($.50) service charge is added to the above rates for all
trips which do not originate or terminate within the Village of Mount
Prospect. "
