HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2495 04/02/1974 ORDINANCE NO. 2495 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 8-S OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did conduct a Public Hearing under Case No. 8-&-74, on February 15, 1974, on a request for a zoning classification change from R-1 (Single Family Resi- dential District) to B- 2.1 (Business-Financial-Office District) of certain property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made and published in the manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that the zoning change re- quested therein be granted; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the following Ordinance regarding the subject pro- perty; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That Map 8-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying from R-1 (Single Family Residential District) to B-2 .1 (Business-Financial-Office Dis- I trict), the following described property: I. Lots 1 to 4 inclusive, and Lots 21 to 23, (except the North 18 feet of said Lot 23) inclusive, in Block 12, all in Busse and Wille's Re- subdivision in Mount Prospect in the West Half CD of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois, commonly known as 100 to 106 South Maple Street and 103 to 105 South Emerson Street, Mount Prospect, Illinois. ~ I SECTION TWO: That Map 8-S contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No. 2410,1 passed and approved March 20, 1973, shall be deemed amended so as to conform I with the reclassification of the subject property herein contained in SECTION ONB above. SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
