ORDINANCE NO. 2670
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEES
FOR COIN-IN-SLOT SELF-SERVICE DRY CLEANING
MACHINES AND SELF-SERVICE LAUNDERING MACHINES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That subsection B of Section 11. 703 of the Municipal Code of Mount
Prospect of 1957, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended in its en-
tirety; so that hereafter the said subsection B of Section 11. 703 shall be and read
as follow s:
" B. Applicants for licenses for coin-in-slot self-service dry cleaning ma-
chines, self-service laundering machines, (whether washing machines
or drying machines) , shall pay the annual fees for such licenses as set
forth in Article XXXI of this Chapter."
SECTION TWO: That subsection E of Section 11.3105 of the Municipal Code of Mount
Prospect of 1957, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended in its en-
tirety by removing the fee schedule contained therein for self-service dry cleaning
and laundering machines since the amount of the aforesaid license fees will be gov-
erned and controlled by the floor area of the premises in the component fee schedule
contained elsewhere in said Article XXXI of Chapter 11 (Business Licensing) ;so that
hereafter the said subsection E of Section 11.3105 shall be and read as follows:
E. Coin-In-Slot Devices
1. Cigarette Vending Machines
2. Juke Boxes
3. Pinball or Electronic Game
Machines
4. Food Vending Machines
a. H to 10~ candy, gum
and nuts
b . All other such machines
5 . Machines vending other
General Merchandise
$37.50 per machine annually
$15 per machine annually
$37.50 per machine annually
$1.50 per machine annually
$15 per machine annually
$15 per machine annually

SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
