ORDINANCE NO. 2687
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR PAYMENT OF DEFICIENCY
IN THE CERTIFICATE OF FINAL COST AND COMPLETION
OF MOUNT PROSPECT SPECIAL ASSESSMENT NO. 73 Co 1190
BY ASSESSMENT FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT
WHEREAS. the Village of Mount Prospect has passed an Ordinance for the making
of a local improvement. which is designated as Mount Prospect Special Assessment
No. 73 Co 1190; and
WHEREAS. the Circuit Court of Cook County has confirmed said special assessment;
and
WHEREAS. the improvement has been completed by the contractor. JOHN BURNS
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, and accepted by the Board of Local Improvements of
the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Board has approved the Certificate of Final Cost and Completion,
which reflects a deficiency in the amount of $15,647.82, which amount it is ,
estimated will be required to pay the accruing interest on bonds and vouchers; and i

SECTION ONE: That the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, pay
the deficiency of $15,647.82 in Mount Prospect Special Assessment No. 73 Co 1190
I and the same be assessed against the Village as public benefit in the sum of
I $15,647.82, payable out of the third to tenth installments inclusive, in addition to
the amount already confirmed against the Village for public benefit.
WHEREAS, there will be a deficiency in the amount of assessment required to pay I
the cost of the work. cost of engineering and inspection. cost of levying, making an<jl
collecting the assessment, and the amount estimated to pay accruing interest on I
bonds and vouchers in the sum of $15.647.82, and the deficiency will benefit the I
public in said sum in addition to the public benefit previously assessed. i

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEE4
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: I

SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
