MOUNT PROSPECI' SPECIAL EVENTS COMMISSION
Minutes
June 3, 1000
ATTENDEES: Lit Floros, Leo Floros, Della Baldwin, Dale Dramin, Janice Farley, Martha Helm, Lama
Luteri, Laury Youngquist
The meeting was called to order by Leo Floros at 9:00 am. The minutes of the May 6, 2000, meeting were
approved. The Commission thanked Laura Luteri for bringing the treats and also congratulated her on
becoming the new Library Board President.
Sister City: Leo commented on the week's events and stated everything had been very successful. He
thanked the Commission for its participation and the host fiunilies for their hospitality.
Do-It-Yourself Sousa - June 25 at 7:00: Laura Luteri reported the musical participation will be about
the same as last year's event. She asked for assistance in distributing advertising posters to businesses.
She will be trying to contact the t-shirt company for ten additional shirts. If the company cannot be
reached, the moneys collected will be refunded.
Fourth of July Parade: In Jill Friedrichs absence, Laury was asked to coordinate the trolley decorations
and to contact the people to ride; i.e. the Sister City Commission.
The next meeting will be August 5.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30.
