AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER '18 ENTITLED
'TRAFFIC CODE', OF THE VILLAGE, CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section i8.2001 of "Schedule I - Speed Restrictions" of Chapter 18
of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further amended by reducing
the speed limit on Meadow Lane o North and Southbound - from 25 MPH to 20 MPH, by
reducing the speed limit on Oxford Place - East and Westbound from 25 MPH to 20 MPH,
by reducing the speed limit on Wedgewood Lane - North and Southbound - from 25 MPH
to 20 MPH and by establishing a speed limit of 20 MPH for the 200 block of Leonard Lane
- North and Southbound and a 20 MPH speed limit on Meadow Lane - East and Westbound;
so that Section 18.2001 shall include the following, in proper alphabetic sequence:
"Name of Direction of Speed
Street Traffic Movement Limit (MPH) At Intersection With
Leonard Ln North and Southbound 20 Btw. White Oak St &
Village limits
Meadow Ln ~orth and Southbomld 20 Entire Jurisdiction
Oxford PI East and Westbound 20 Entire Jurisdiction
Stratford PI . East and Westbound 20 Entire Jurisdiction
Wedgewood Ln North and Southbound 20 Entire Jurisdiction"
SECTION TWO;. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
