AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPER.TY ON THE WEST
SIDE OF PRAIRIE AVENUE 174 TO 250 FEET NORTH OF
THE CENTER LINE OF LINCOLN AVENUE

II WHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by the owner of record of le.nd
'I hereinafter described has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of
II Mount Prospect requesting that said land be annexed to the Village of Mount

WHEREAS, all electors residing within the said property to be annexed have
affixed their signatures indicating their consent; and

WHEREAS, the said land is not within the corporate limits of any municipality. II'
but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; and I

WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount PrOSpt?c~
find and believe it to be in the best interests of the said Village that said land

NOW t THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY s ILLINOIS:

SECTION ONE:
That all land and territory legally described as foUovrs:
The West 132.30 feet of the East 165.3 feet of the North
76 feet of the South 250 feet, as measured on the South
and West lines of the West t of the Southeast -1 of the
Southeast! of the Northwest t of Section 10, Town-
ship 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois;

SECTION TWO: That Map I-AS contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No.
2410 t passed and approved March 20, 1973 t be amended to reflect the ex-
tension of the corporate limits of the Villag'e of Mount Prospect to include the
I property hereinabove described and hereby annexed.

SECTION THREE: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Moun.t Prospect is
hereby directed to file in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County ~
Illinois, a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate mnp
of the territory annexed.
SECTION FOUR: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect fro::n and
a.fter its passag-e, approval, and publication in the manner pro'<jided by law.
