HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2740 09/06/1977 ORDINANCE NO. 2740 AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LINCOLN AVENUE AND MEIER ROAD FROM R-X TO R-l (lVIAP I1-S) I WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did conduct a Public Hearing under Case No. 29-Z-77', on July 28, 1977, on a request for a i zoning classification change from R-X (Single Family Residential District) to R-1 I I (Single Family Residential District) of certain property hereinafter described; and i 1 ' I, WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made and published in the ! Ilmanner provided by law; and ' i Ii I IIWHEREAS, t:te Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did recom-I Ilmend to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that i lithe zoning changes requested in Case No . 29-Z-77 be granted; and i I' I I WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount I , Prospect did meet on August 24, 1977, and did review the aforesaid Case No. 29-V-77, and has recommended to the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount I IProspect that it concur with the recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals Iwith respect to Case No. 29-Z-77; and I' I; IIWHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect Ilhave determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be Ilattained by the adoption of the following Ordinance regarding the subject property; 11 , IINOW. THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEE~ ilOF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT. COOK COUNTY. ILLINOIS: I IlsECTION ONE: That l\-1ap 11-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount ' ilProspect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying from II R-X (Single Family Residential District) to R-1 (Single Family Residential District) the following described property: I The West half of Lot 1 (except the South 988.31 feet thereof) in I the Owner's Division, being a subdivision of the Southeast I quarter (except the West half of the Southwest quarter thereof) ,I of Section 10, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third I Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois; ! I SECTION TWO: That Map 11-S contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No. 12410, passed and approved March 20, 1973, shall be deemed amended so as to IEonform with the reclassification of the subject property herein in SECTION PNE above.
