ORDINANCE NO. 2742
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 8-S OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
Whereas, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of l\Iount Prospect did conduct
a Public Haaring under Case No. 11- Z - 77 on April 28,1977 and on August 25,
1977, pursuant to a request for zoning classification changes from I-I (Light
Industrial District) to B-4 (Business-Retail and Service District) and from R-l
(Single Family Residence District) to B-4 (Business-Retail and Service District)
for certain property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS. a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing wasmadeand published in the
manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did recom-
mend to the President and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
that the zoning changes requested in Case No. 11-Z-77 be granted; and

WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect did meet on July 13, 1977. and did review the aforesaid Case No. 11-Z-77.
and has recommended to the Board of Trustees of the Village of l\fnunt Prospect
that it concur with the recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals with respect
to Case No. 11-Z-77; and
WHEREAS. the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be
attained by the adoption of the following Ordinance regarding the subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT. COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map 8-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount
I Prospect, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by reclassifying ,
from I-I (Light Industrial District) to B-4 (Business-Retail and Service District)
the following described property:
Lot No.1 in Ethel Busse's Subdreision, being a subdivision of Part of the
East t of the Northwest! of Section 12. Township 41 North, Range 11 East
of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois.

SECTION TWQ That Map 8-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount
Prospect, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by reclassifying
fran R-f {Single Fardly Residence Dirstict) to B-~ (Business-Retail and Service
District) for certain propertyLeg;mlly described as follows:
The North 25 feet of Lot No.2 in Ethel Busse's Subdivision, being a
Subdivision of Part of the East t of the Northwest! of Section 12, Township 41
North, Renge 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois.

SECTION THREE: That Map 8-S contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No.
2410, passed and approved March 20, 1973, shall be deemed am~ended so as to
conform with the reclassification of the subject property herein in SECTION
ONE above.

SECTION FOUR: That this Ordinance shall be null and void and of no force
and effect whatsoever until after its passage. approval, publication, and such
. time as an accurate plat subdividing the subject property described in SECTION
ONE above is recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a
copy of which Plat of Subdivision shall be attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
