ORDINANCE NO. 2702
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
SECTION ONE: That, pursuant to the authority vested in the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect under Article VII of the 1970 Constitu-
tion of the State of Illinois, Section 13.120 of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect
of 1957, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended in its entirety by
deleting any and all requirements for an unobstructed view of the licensed premises
and by substituting therefor regulations regarding Dram Shop Insurance; so that
hereafter the said Section 13.120 shall be and read as follows:

SECTION 13. 120. Dram Shop Insurance. Any person, trustee, firm or
corporation owning, renting, leasing as lessor or as lessee, or permitting
the occupation of any building or premises with knowledge that alcoholic li-
quors are to be sold therein, or, who having leased the same for other pur-
poses and who shall knowingly permit therein the sale of any alcoholic li-
quors, shall be required to carry Dram Shop Insurance for such facility in
maximum insurance coverage limits so as to save harmless the premises and
the interest of any such person, trustee, firm, or corporation. II
