ORDINANCE NO. 4817
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 ENTITLED
'TRAFFIC CODE' OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 18.2003 entitled "One-Way Streets" of Chapter 18 (Traffic
Code) of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further amended
by deleting therefrom "Council Tr. - Westbound - School hours btw. Elm and School Sts."
and adding thereto "School St. - Northbound - - Btw. Council and Sha Bonee Trs."; so
that hereafter said Section 18.2003 shall include the following:
"Name of Direction of
Street Traffic Movement Description
School St. Northbound Btw. Council and Sha Bonee Trs."
SECTION TWO: That Section 18.2006 entitled "No Parking Any Time" of chapter 18
(Traffic Code) of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further
amended by deleting therefrom "School St. - West - Btw. Council and Sha Bonee Trs.".
SECTION THREE: That Section 18.2009 entitled "Parking During School Hours" of
Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby
further amended by adding thereto "School St - East and West - Btw Council and Sha
Bonee Trs.", "School St. - East - Btw. Council and Sha Bonee Trs." and "Council Tr. -
North - Btw a point 220 ft. to 320 ft. west of School St."; so that hereafter said Section
18.2009 shall include the following:
"Name of Side of
Street Street Description
School St. East Btw. Council and Sha Bonee Trs.
School St. West Btw. Council and Sba Bonee Trs.
(Loading Zone)
Council Tr. North Btw. a point 220 ft and 320 ft. west of
School St. "
SECTION FOUR: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
AYES: Clowes, Corcoran, Hendricks, Hoefert, Skowron, Wilks
NAYS: None
ABSENT: None
