RES'OLUTION NO. 9-78
A RESOLUTION OF CONGRATULATIONS TO THE
FOREST VIEW GIRLS BOWLING TEAM
WHEREAS, the Forest View High School'Girls Bowling Team
has convincingly demonstrated their outstanding sports
ability by winning the State Bowling Championship Title;
and
WHEREAS, this is the third time Forest View High School
Girls Bowling Team has received such recognition, and
also the third time for this area; and
WHEREAS, the Team's action has brought glory and recogni-
tion to the school and the towns from which its student
body is drawn;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Forest View High School Girls
Bowl ing Team,l oCQach Warren Mrer ~ and Karen Ell ingsworth ~
who placed first for high score series, and Judy Pleickhardt
who had the highest average in the tournament, be extended
official and hearty congratulations on their achievement.
SECTION TWO: . That a copy of this Resolution be given to
the Team and to the Forest View High School Athletic
Department.
SECTION THREE: That this Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval in the
manner provided by law.
