A RESOLUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH THE
ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

WHEREAS. the VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT. Cook County, Illinois. desires
1~ undertake. in the year 1979. the location, construction, operation and
waintenance of driveways and street returns, wateI'mains, sanitary and storm
~ewers, street lights, traffic signals. sidewalks, landscaping, etc., on State high-
ways. within the Village of Mount Prospect, which by law and/or agreement come
Under the jurisdiction and control of the DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION OF
WHE STATE OF ILLINOIS: and

~VHEREAS, an individual working permit must be obtained from the Department of
Wransportation prior to any of the aforesaid installations being constructed either
'Py the Village of Mount Prospect or by a private person or firm under contract
ftnd supervision of the Village of Mount Prospect.

~fOW' THEREFOR, E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
F THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

~ECTION ONE: That the Village of Mount Prospect hereby pledges its good faith
~nd guarantees that all work shall be performed in accordance with the conditions
~f the permit to be granted by the Department of Transportation, and to hold thz
~tate of Illinois harmless on account of any damages that may occur to persons or
~roperty during the prosecution of such work. and assume all liability for damages
tb persons or property due to accidents or otherwise by reason of the work which
If to be performed under the provisions of said permit.
