RESOLUTION NO. 6-79
A RESOLUTION CONCURRING IN THE ACCEPTANCE
OF THE LOW BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE RAND
ROAD/CENTRAL ROAD/ MOUNT PROSPECT ROAD
INSPECTION IMPROVEMENT

H WHEREAS. it is desirable that the Rand Road/Central Road/ :Mount Prospect Road
II intersection be reconstructed and improved; and

H WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect, the City of Des Plain.es, and the Federal
~i Government are participating in the cost of construction for this project; and
: WHEREAS, the State of Illinois has received an apparent low bid of $1,968,559.20
F submitted by City Construction Company for construction of the project;
;!NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
ii OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
l!That the Village of Mount Prospect concurs in the acceptance of the low bid of
n$l,968,559.20 and award of the contract to City Construction Company, subject
:Ito the acceptance of said low bid and award by the Illinois Department of
,!Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration.
