I~EREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect, a municipal cor-
~oration has been a member of the Northwest Suburban Water
ISystem (VENTURE) since May 31, 1978; and
~HEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Northwest Suburban
~ater System meets periodically to make policy decisions
Iregarding the conduct and operation of the syste~; and
I~HEREAS, it is necessary at these meetings to have a
EUfficient number of communities represented to form a
IRuorum and act upon business of the system; and

I~HEREAS, it is necessary that each community be represented
rt these meetings; .

bECT ION ONE: That the CHAIRMAN OF THE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE is
ere y eSlgnated as an alternate member of the Northwest
uburban Water System with full authority and responsibility
f a regular Board member for the purpose of participating
on discussion and voting upon decisions of the Northwest
uburban Water System in the absence of the Mayor of the
II i11age of Mount Prospect.
I ECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force
n e ect from and after its passage and approval in the
anner provided by law.
