II WHEREAS, The Board of Library Directors of the Village of Mount Prospect,
'I Cook County, Illinois, has been organized for the purpose of owning, operating,
il and maintaining library facilities within the corporate limits of the Village of
II Mount Prospect; and
II WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
desires to sell the Subject Property to The Board of Library Directors of the
II Village of Mount Prospect, pursuant to the authority conferred by An Act in
II Relation to the Transfer of Real Estate Owned by Municipalities, Ill. Rev .Stat, 1977'1

IIi WHEREAS, The Board of Library Directors passed and approved on September 13, ~I ~
an ordinance declaring that it is necessary and convenient for it to use and ,
I occupy the Subject Property for library purposes; and

I WHEREAS, the consideration for the Subject Property will be the conveyance I
of a parcel of property legally described in Ordinance No. 2941 to the Village I
i of Mount Prospect by The Board of Library Directors of the Village of Mount prospet

i desIre to sell the' SubJect Property to The Board of LIbrary DIrectors of the I
I Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.

I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
i OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
RESOLUTION NO. 31-79
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OF MUNICIPAL PROPERTY
TO THE BOARD OF LIBRARY DIRECTORS OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, is the owner of
a parcel of real estate which is legally described on Exhibit A which is attached
hereto and incorporated herein by this reference (said parcel of real estate shall
be referred to hereinafter as the "Subject Property"); and

! SECTION ONE: The foregoing recitals are incorporated herein as findings of fact.

I SECTION TWO: The President is authqrized to execute and the Village Clerk to
I attest the deed attached hereto as Exhibit B and incorporated herein by this
II reference and any and all other documents required to convey the Subject
I, Property to The Board of Library Directors of the Village of Mount Prospect,
II Cook County, Illinois.

Iii SECTION THREE: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
! after its passage by a favorable vote of 2/3 of the corporate authorities, and
II approval in the manner provided by law.
