RESOLUTION NO.
32-79
PARTICIPATION AND SUPPORT IN THE CABLE TELEVISION
ANALYSIS STUDY OF THE NORTHWEST MUNICIPAL CONFERENCE
WHEREAS, the Northwest Municipal Conference has undertaken a joint analysis of
proposals submitted to it for Cable Television services in its member municipalities;
and
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect is participating in this study to determine
the most qualified companies for purposes of possible franchising for such services;
, and

WHEREAS, the need of professional consulting services to assist in that analysis
is of the utmost importance; and
:WHEREAS, the costs of such a-consultant service are diminished when purchased
iby the Conference jointly.
i !NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
!!OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

i ;SECTION ONE: The Village of Mount Prospect agrees to pay its pro rata share
IPf providing consultant services for the project in an amount not to exceed $1,500.00

iSECTION TWO: In accordance with Section 11, (A) (3), of the Request for
!Proposal distributed on July 5, 1979, by the Northwest Municipal Conference, all
monies received for evaluation from the company (s) receiving a franchise (s) will
:be distributed back to the participating municipalities in this program.
:SECTION THREE: A certified copy of this Resolution be directed to the offices
lof the Northwest Municipal Conference.
'SECTION FOUR: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
lafter its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
