RESOLUTION NO. 46-79
A RESO,LUTION OF APPRECIATION FOR THE SERVICE
EXTENDED BY DONALD W. GOODMAN
WHEREAS, DONALD W. GOODMAN has devoted his time, experience, knowledge
and dedication as Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect from
May 1, 1969 to December 31, 1979; and
WHEREAS, during these three terms of public service, DONALD W. GOODMAN
continually and unselfishly performed the functions of the Office of
Village Clerk with diligence and unswerving integrity; and
WHEREAS, our local government and its citizens, elected officials and
employees have all benefitted from the leadership and expertise of
DONALD W . GOODMAN.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That while Donald W. Goodman's resignation as Village Clerk
of the Village of Mount Prospect is met with sincere regret by all of us in
Mount Prospect, we wish to express our acknowledgement and lasting gratitude
for his faithful and constructive service these eleven years.
SECTION TWO: That on behalf of all the residents, officials and employees of
the Village of Mount Prospect, we extend to Donald W. Goodman and his
family our heartfelt appreciation for their past contributions and our wish
for their continued happiness and enjoyment as they leave public service.
SECTION THREE: That as a perpetual memento a copy of this Resolution be
spread upon the minutes of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect,
and that a certified copy of same be suitably engraved upon parchment and
presented to Donald W. Goodman.
SECTION FOUR: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
