RESOLUTION NO. 41-05
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF AN EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT FOR RESIDENTIAL SOUD
WASTE SERVICES IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have
determined that it is in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect to enter into an
Agreement with ARC Disposal and Recycling Company, Inc. for solid waste services to all single
and multifamily residential properties within the corporate boundaries of the Village according to
the terms of the Agreement attached to and made a part of this Resolution as Exhibit A;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect do hereby
authorize and direct the Mayor to execute and the Village Clerk to attest the signature on the
Agreement between ARC Disposal and Recycling Company, Inc. and the Village of Mount
Prospect for residential solid waste services, a copy of which is attached hereto and hereby
made a part thereof as Exhibit "A".
SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval in the manner provided by law.
AYES: Corcoran, Hoefert, Korn, Lohrstorfer, Skowron, Zadel
NAYS: None
ABSENT: Wilks
