A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A RESTRICTIVE (EXHIBIT A) COVENANT FOR SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS AT 815 AND 901 SOUTH EDGEWOOD LANE Request to revisit resolution which authorizes the execution of a Restrictive Covenant guaranteeing future installation of sidewalks at 815 and 901 Edgewood Lane, by the property owner, at such time Village staff deems necessary. XI.NEW BUSINESS A. PZ-27-05, 109 Mac Arthur Boulevard, Residence st 1 reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (EXHIBIT B) FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 109 MAC ARTHUR BOULEVARD This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit for the construction of a circular drive. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended denial of the Conditional Use permit by a vote of 1-4; the ordinance requires a super majority vote for approval. B. PZ-26-05, 1784 W. Golf Road, Mount Prospect Commons Shopping Center, (EXHIBIT C) ShapeXpress st 1 reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1784 W. GOLF ROAD, MOUNT PROSPECT SHOPPING CENTER This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit to allow the operation of a women’s fitness facility (gym). The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval of the Conditional Use permit by a vote of 5-0. C. PZ-24-05, 479 Business Center Drive, Kensington Business Center, (EXHIBIT D) Dmitry Kotlyar st 1 reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 479 BUSINESS CENTER DRIVE, KENSINGTON BUSINESS CENTER This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit to allow the operation of a cosmetology school. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval of the Conditional Use permit by a vote of 5-0. D. PZ-23-05, 50 E. Northwest Highway, Lofts & Shops, Commuter Fitness (EXHIBIT E) st 1 reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 50 E. NORTHWEST HIGHWAY This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit to allow the operation of a fitness facility (gym). The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval of the Conditional Use permit by a vote of 5-0. E. PZ-25-05, Text Amendment, Chapter 7, Village of Mount Prospect st 1 reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7 (SIGN) OF THE (EXHIBIT F) VILLAGE CODE This ordinance amends Section 7.325 “Special Signs”, Section 7.330 “Special Use” and Section 7.335 “Special Area of Control”, to allow for use of sidewalk signage in the Downtown District. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. * F. A RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EASEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN (EXHIBIT G) COMMONWEALTH EDISION (COMED) AND THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT - 100 S. EMERSON SWITCHGEAR RELOCATION This resolution authorizes an agreement between the Village and ComEd which grants ComEd a utility easement over the public right-of-way owned by the Village upon which to relocate, construct, and maintain the ComEd electrical facility, and lines leading to the facility. XII. VILLAGE MANAGER’S REPORT A. Bid Results * Annual Creek Cleaning/Tree Trimming Program (Arbor Green, Ltd.; not to exceed $33,000.) * B. Request to waive bid process and purchase Ruggedized Laptops in an amount not to exceed $59,770. * C. Request for approval of a Façade Rebate Program Reimbursement ($5,000) for a ground sign at Victoria Court Shopping Center at 103-111 W. Central Road. D. Status Report XIII. OTHER BUSINESS XIV.
