HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2804 07/18/1978 6/15/78 .,' ;'. ......,... ~ - ORDINANCE NO. 2804 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ALONG THE EAST SIDE OF MEIER ROAD APPROXIMATELY 321 FEET NORTH OF LONNQUIST BOULEVARD -' WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of App(~a1s of the Village of Mount Prospect did meet on the 25th day of May, 1978, at the hour of 8: GO p.m. , at the Mount Pros- pect Public Safety Building and did hear Case No. 35- V -78, pursuant to pro-- per legal notice; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Bo:wd of ,Appeals of tIle Village of Mount Prospect did recommend to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect the approval of these requests under Case No. 35-V-78; and WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect has reviewed the matter herein and has recommended the approval thereof to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospeet have reviewed the matter herein and have determined that the same is in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That the pal.'! of property being the subject matter of Case No. 35-V-78, being legally described as follows: Lot 1 of Semar's Resubdivision ill MOlmt Prospect being a resub- division of Lot 4 (except the East 330.86 feet thereof, and ex- cept the South 231.00 feet thereof) in 1'/1eier Brothers' Subdivision, being a su,bdivision of part of Sections 10 and 15, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois; is currently zoned under the Zoning' Ordinance of the Village of Mount Pros- pect as R--l (Single Family Residence) District, which zoning classHicaiion shall remain in effect subject to the variations granted herein: A. That the north front yard of the subject lot be reduced to 20ft. B. That the required lot area be reduced from 9,375 sq. ft. to 8,800 sq. ft. ?ECTION TWO: That part of the property being' the subject matter of Case No. 35-V -78, being legally described as follows: Lots 3 and 4 of Semar's Resllbdivision in Mount Prospect being a resubdivision of l.ot 4 (except the East 330.86 feet thereof, and except the South 231. 00 feet thereof) in Meier Brothers' Subdivision, being a Subdivision of part of Sections 10 and 15, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois; 0,' .. is currently zoned under the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect as R-l (Single Family Residence) District, which zoning classification shall remain in effect subject to the variation granted herein: That the front yard of each said lot be reduced to 25 feet. SECTION THREE: That part of the property being the f'ubject matter of Case no. 35-V-78, being legally described as follows: Lot 11 of Semur's Resubdivision in Mou.nt Prospect being a resubdivision of Lot 4 (except the East 330.86 feet thereof, and except the South 231. 00 feet thereof) in Meier Brothers' Subdivision, being a Subdivision of part of Sections 10 and 15, Township 41 North.~ Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois; is currently zoned under the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect as R-l (Single Family Residence) District, which zoning classification shall remain in effect subject to the variations granted herein: A. That the front yard adjacent to Meier Road be reduced to 20 ft. B. That the required lot area be reduced from 9,375 sq. ft. to 8,625 sq. ft. SECTION FOUR: That all requirements of the Mount Prospect Building and Zoning Code shall be applicable except the variations noted in SECTIONS ONE, TWO and THREE heretofore mentioned. SECTION FIVE: That the Director of Building and Zoning of the Village of 'Mount Prospect is hereby authorized to issue a building permit for construction in accordance with the variations hereinbefore mentioned. SECTION SIX: That the variations granted by this Ordinance shall be null and void and of no force and effect whatsoever unless an application for a building permit pursuant to such variation is made and construction commenced within one (1) year of the date this said Ordinance becomes effective. SECTION SEVEN: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect fr om a)1d after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by Jaw.
