VJHEREAS. a 'writtc':n p,~tition 'I.md'3l' oath signed by the owners of record of land
hereiTlufter described has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect requesting that said land be annexed to the Village of IVlount
Prospect; and
VHEREAS, aU electors residing w'ithin the said property to be annexed have affi~red
their sig'natures indicating their consent; and
WHEREAS, the said land is not within the corporate limits of any municipality,
but is contiguoL1s to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
\THEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
ind and believe it to be in the best interests of the said Village that said land
nd territory be annexed thereto;
OCW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
'RUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF 1\10UNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

'BCTION ONE: That alllartd and territory legally described as:
That part of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southw~st 1/4 of Section 11,
'fownship 41 North,' Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian
described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 12
in Golf View Estates, Unit Number 1, being a subdivision in the South-
west 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 11 aforesaid; thence East
along the South line 01' the North 10 acres of the Southwest 1/4 of the
Southwest 1/4 of S~ction 11 aforesaid, said line being the North line
of Golf View Estates Unit Number 1 aforesaid and also the North line
of Golf View Estates Unit Number 2 in the Southwest 1/4 of the South-
west 1/4 of Section 11 aforesaid to the Northeast corner of Lot 22 in
Golf View Estates, Unit Number 2; thence South along the East line
of Lots 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 in Golf View Estates,
Unit Number Two aforesaid, sald East line also being the East line of
the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 11 aforesaid to the
Southeast corner of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section
11 aforesaid; thence West along the South line of the Southwest 1/4 of
Section 11 aforesaid to a point of intersection with the West line of
Glendale Lane, as dedicated in Golf View Estates, Unit Number 2 afore-
said, extended South; thence North along said extension and along the
West line of Glendale Lane aforesaid to the Southeast corner of Lot 32

SECTION THREE: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby
irected to file in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County ~ Illinois, a
ertified copy of this Ordinance J together with an accurate map of the territory

ECTION FOUR: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
fter its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
