ORDINANCE NO. 2879
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 8-S OF THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OFMQUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS. the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did condu .
a public hearing under Case No. 5-Z-79. on the 22nd day of February. 1979. on
a :request for a zoning classification change from R-1 (SIngle :Pamily Residence Dis
trict) to P--1 (Off Street Parking District) of certain property hereinafter described
and
WHEREAS. a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made and published in the
manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS. the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect has recorn
mended to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect tha
the petitioner's request under said Case No. 5-Z-79 be granted; and
WHEREAS. the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect has reviewed the matter herein and has recommended the approval thereo
to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be
attained by the adoption of the following Ordinances regarding the subject propert ;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PRQSPECT. COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION .QNE: .'fhat 1'.lap 8-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount
Prospect -;-as amended. be and the same is hereby further amended by reclassify-
ing from R-l (Single Family Residence District) to P-l (Off Street Parking District)
the following described property:
Lot 16 and the South half (1/2) of Lot 17 in Block five (5)
in Busse and Wille's Resubdivision in MountProspect. in
the West half (1/2) of Section 12. Township 41 North. Range
11. East of the Third Principal Meridian.
SECTION ¡WO: That Map 8-8 contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No. 2410 >
passedand approved M:arch 20. 1973. shall be deemed amended so as to conform
with the reclassification of the subject property herein contained in SECTION ONE
above.
SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be null and void and of no. force and
effect whatsoevel' until after its passage. approval. pUblication. and such time as
an accurate plat resubd¡viding the said parcel described in SECTION ONE herein-
above is recorded with the Recorder of Deeds ofCoÇ>k County. Illinois; a copy of
which plat of resubdivision shall be attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof
