AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH
AND WEST OF THE SOUTH~RN CtJL-DE:~SAC.OF
CARBOY ROAD TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT ,PROSPECT
HEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by the owners of record of land
ereinafter described has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount
rospect, requesting that said land be annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect;
and
HEREAS, n~ electors reside within the said property to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, the said land is not within the corporate limits of any municipality,
but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President, and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
find and believe it to b~ ill the best interests of the said Village that said land
and territory be annexed thereto; ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY" ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally described as follows:
All that part of Lots 11 thru 15, inclusive, and Lot 16, except the
East 235.0 feet of the South 90.0 feet, as measured on the East and
South lines thereof, in Elmhurst - Algonquin Industrial Park, Un~t
No.2, being a subdivision in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 23, Town-
ship 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Prin~ipal Meridian as
per the plat thereof rE!ç():t'c1~c1 fgpl'Jlary 20, 1968, as Document No.
20409121, taken as a tract, which lies West of the East line of the
West 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 23 which lies south of
the North line of South 1175.0 feet of the North 3/4 of the West 1/2 of
the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 23 together with all that part of Carboy
Road lying ~ast of and adjoining said lots and lying South of a radial
line of said street drawn from where the East line of the West 1/2 of
said Southeast 1/4 intersects the Northwesterly line of said Carboy
- Road, Cook County, Illinois;
an accurate map of which territory is att~ched hereto and hereby made a part
hereof by this reference be and the same'ishereby annexed to the Village of
Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: That Maps 46-S and 47-S contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinanc
No. 2410, passed and approved March 20, 1973, be amended to reflect the extensi r.
of the corporate limits of the, Village of Mount Prospect to include the property
hereinabove described and hereby annexed.
SECTION THREE: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is here
by directed to file in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois,

ECTION FOUR: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
iter its passage, a.ppr'oval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
