HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2890 04/04/1979 ~ 3/29/79 ~ ,> II ORDINANCE NO. 2890 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAPS 46-S AND 47-S OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT HE;REAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made and published in the anner provided by law; and þEREAS. the Zoning Soard of Appeals of the Viilage of Mount Prospect has recom- nded to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect t at the petitioner's request under said Cases No. 8-Z-79 and 10-Z-79 be granted; a d IHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did conduct public hearing under Cases No. 8-Z-79 and 10-Z-79, on the 22nd day of February, 979, on requests for zoning classification change from R-X (Single Family Residence istrict) to I-I (Light Industrial District) of certain properties hereinafter described; . d \ EREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount P .ospect has reviewed the matter herein and has recommended the approval thereof t ¡the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect; and W : EREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect h : e determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be at ained by the adoption of the following Ordinance regarding the subject,property; N W, THEREFORE, BE ~T ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES 0 THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: S TION ONE: That Maps 46-S and 47-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of ount Prospect, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by re lassifying from R-X (Single Family Residence District) to I-I (Light Industrial Di trict) the following described property: PARCEL 1 All that part of Lots 11 through 15, inclusive, and Lot 16, except the East 235. 0 feet of the South 90.0 feet thereof, in Elmhurst-Algonquin Industrial Park, Unit No.2, being a subdivision in the SouthEast 1/4 of Section 23, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded February 20, 1968, as Document 20409121, taken as a tract, and which lies West of the East 'line of the West 1/2 of the South East 1/4 of said Section 23 and which lies South of the North line of the South 1175.0 feet of the North 3/4 of the West 1/2 of the South East 1/4 of said Section 23, in Cook County, Illinois; I PARCEL 2 II~he East 235 feet of the South 90 feet of Lot 16 of the Elmhurst-Algonquin I ndustriaJ Park unit number 2, being a subdivision in the Southeast 1/4 f Section 23, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal I~eridian, as recorded on February 20, 1968, as document number I 0409121 in the office of the Recorder of Deeds in Cook County. l11inois. ..~~ -, I I L ~, " " SECTION TWO: That Maps 46-S and 47-S contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No. 2410 ,passed and approved March 20, 1973, shall be deemed amended so as to conform with the reclassification of the subj ect property herèin contained in SECTION ONE above.
