AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXCHANGE AND
TRADE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE VIt LA GE .
OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, . Ií..f.X1\fcnS
HEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have
opted Resolution No .12-79authorizing the execution of an annexation agreement
ncerning certain property; and
CTION ONE: That pursuant to that authority vested in the Village of Mount Prospect
der Article VII of the 1970 Constitution of the State of Illinois, a conveyance of 'the

t e Harris Bank & Trust Company, as Trustee under Trust No. 38192, dated Decem-
r 19, 1977, without advertisement or acceptance of bids, in accordance with a
rtain annexation agreement dated. April 4, , 1979--which agreement was
tered into pursuant to the Statutes of the State of Illinois, made and provided--and
ich land to be conveyed is legally described as follows:
HEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect has agreed to exchange certain of its land
. return for certain other land presently under the ownership and control of the
her party to the aforesaid annexation agreement; and
HEREAS, the trade and acquisition of these lands is necessary for the improvement
the Village's water supply and distribution system.
pW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
The East 235 feet of the South 90 feet of Lot 16 in Elmhurst Aigonquin
Industrial Park Unit Number 2, being a subdivision in the South East
Quarter of Section 23, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, as recorded on February 20, 1968 as Document
No. 20409121 in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds, in Cook County,
Illinois.
e Village President be and is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents
n cessary to accomplish conveyance of the property pursuant to the terms of this

S CTION TWO: That pursuant to that authority vested in the Village. of Mount Prospect
u der Article VII of the 1970 Constitution of the State of Illinois, it is hereby determine
t~at it is necessary and desirable.that the Village of Mount Prospect shall acquire title t
á d possession of the following described real property, which said real property
i necessary, required, and needed for improvements to the water supply and water
d~18tribution system of the Village of Mount Prospect:
Lot 6 in Elmhurst Algonquin Inciustrial Park Unit Number 2, being a
subdivision in the South East 1/4 of Section 23, Township 41 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, as per the plat thereof
recorded February 20, 1968 as Document Number 20409121, in Cook
County, Illinois.
S CTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
