ORDINANCE NO.
2899
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE
ANNUAL BUDGET, 1979-80
I WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
I have passed and approved Ordinance No. 2342, which set the finances of
I the Village under the "Budget Officer System"; and
I

WHEREAS, purusant to the aforesaid Ordinance and the statutes of the
State of Illinois made and provided, an annual budget shall be passed by
the corporate authoritites of the Village of Mount Prospect in lieu of the
passage of an appropriation ordinance; and
I WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
I have held all the hearings and caused to be made all of the publications
I and notices required by law; and
I
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have reviewed the budget for fiscal 1979-80 as presented by the Village
Manager and his duly appointed Budget Officer; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
believe the aforesaid budget proposed for fiscal 1979-80 to be in the best
I interests of the Village of Mount Prospect.

I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
I TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

SECTION ONE: That the fiscal 1979-80 budget for the Village of
Mount Prospect, Illinois, attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof
as Exhibit A, be and the same is hereby adopted and approved.
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approved, and publication in pamphlet form in the
manner provided by law.
