1~IwHEREAS' the VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, Cook County, Illinois desires
0 undertake, in the year 1980, the location, construction, operation and
I maintenance of driveways and street returns, watermains, sanitary and storm
I sewers, street lights, traffic signals, sidewalks, landscaping, etc. , on State
!¡highWays, within the Village of Mount Prospect, which by law and/or agreement
fome under the jurisdiction and control of the DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
IOF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS; and -
~HEREAS. an indiiridual working permit must be obtained from the Department
¡.I-Of Transportation prior to any of the aforesaid installations being constructed
either by the Village of Mount Prospect or by a private person or firm under
¡Icontract and supervision -of the Village of Mount Prospect.
!!NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE l\1A YOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES

SECTION ONE: That the Village of Mount Prospect hereby pledges its good faith
and guarantees that all work shall be performed in accordance with the conditions
¡of the per~it ~o be granted by the Department of Transportation; and to hold the
¡'State-of IllmOlS harmless on account of any damaages that may occur to persons
lor property during the prosecution of such work, and assume all liability for
damages to persons or property due to accidents or otherwise by reason of the
work which is to be performed under the provisions of said permit.
A RESOLUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH THE
ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
SECTION TWO: That all authorized officials of the Village of Mount Prospect are
hereby instructed and authorized to sign said working permit on behalf of the
Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTION THREE: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect following
its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
