VILLAGE OF ~Om~T PROSPECT
RESOLUTION NO.
24-80
lŒEREÞ..S, it is the desire Qf the Village of Hount Prospect, '
Illiniis, a municipal corporation, to file an application
for a federal grant for preparation of sanitary sewer
rehabilitation and specificatiQns under 40 CFR, Part 35, and
WHEREAS, additional information must be submitted to th~
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in connection with said
application.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of :t>~ount Prospect has revie\.;ed
and will abide by the federal guidelines for the, design and
opera tion and maintenance of ,,-¡as te\Ÿater conveyance facilities.
- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED" that the Village of }:';ount Prospect
recognizes the importance of adequate operation and maintenance
and that they will ensure that adequate funding and per~onnel
will be provided.
BE IT FURTHERm:SO~VE;D, that the Village of 11ount Prospect ".;rill
have a custom-mqde sewer operation and maintenance manual
prepared in sufficient detail to guide and instruct the system
superintendent and other operating personnel.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village of Hount Prospect will
furnish necessary training, instruction, and operating manuals
to completely familiarize the operating personnel with the
operation and maintena.nce of t.l1~s~\~~r~ystem prescribed in the
operating manual before thè EPA, Qr Ij,l:bDQ:bêEDY:b:!:,cmm'eI1tal
Protection Agency will conduct the final field inspection \'1hich
is a prerequisite for fiDal grant payments.
