RESOLUTION NO.
25-80
,'n'ŒREAS, it is the desire of the Vi llage of I-1ount. Prospect,
Illinois, a municipal corporation, to file an application for
a federal grant for preparation of sanitary sewer rehabilitation
pla~s and specificatio~s under 40 CFR, Part 35, and
HHEREAS, the Environmental Protection ]lgency (EPA) and IEPÞ..
require a system of charges be adopted to ensure that each user
of the sewer system will pay its proportional share of ~1e cost
of operation and maintenance.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of Hount Prospect ,-¡¡ill develop
a User Charge System so that it will result in distriþutio~ of
the cost of operation and maintenance of the sewer system to
each User and User Class in' proportion to the User's contribution
in accordance with the Step 3 funding age~cyls requirements~
