29-80
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE
MANAGER TO OFFERAN'D TO NEGOTIATE TO
PURCHASE SENIOR CITIZEN SITE
BE IT RESOLVED By the President and the Board of Trustees of
the Villa.geof Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, as
follows:
SECTION ONE: The President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount'Prospect hereby authorize the Village
Manager to offer to purchase and to negotiate to purchase
apa.rcel of real estate owned by Cermak Plaza, Inc.,
, which is commonly known as 900 East Centennial Drive and
I legally described as follows:
In the Village of Mount Prospect, Wheeling
Township, Cook County, Illinois, the point
of beginning being in the southwest corner
of Lot 37 in the Westgate Garden Subdivision
recorded July 27,1976, as Document No.
2884068 thence South 200.00 feet thence East
500.00 feet thence North 200;00 feet thence
West 500.00 feet to the point of beginning
all in the east half of the Southwest Quarter,
Section 35, Township 42 North, Range 11 East
of the Third Principal Meridian, in the
Village of Mount Prospect, Wheeling Township,
Cook County, Illinois, and generally located
at the northerly edge of Mount Prospect Plaza
Shopping Center, Rand Road and Centra~ Road,
in Mount Prospect,
(hereinafter referred to as the "Subject Property").
I SECTION TWO: The Village Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to offer to purch~se the Subject Property
I for $ 250,000.00 and to negot1.ate the: purchase price and
¡ the terms and conditions of a real estate contract for the
i purchase of the Subj ect Property.
I SEC~IO~. T1!R1':E: The Village' Manager be, and he is hereby,
I directed to forward a written offer to purchase the Subject
I Property which shall ~ncludea date upon which negotiations
¡may commence, along w1.th a Statement of Just Compensation to
II Cermak Plaza, Inc. by registered mail, return receipt requested.
I SECTION FOUR: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
¡from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided
i by law.
