A RESOLUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH THE
ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, the VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, Cook County, Illinois desires
tc undertake, in the year 1981, the location, construction, oper-ation and
maintenance of driveways and street returns, watermains, sanitary and storm
sewers, street lights, traffic si gnals. sidewalks. landscaping, etc., on State
highways, within the Village of Mount Prospect, which by law and/or ag-reemen
come under the jurisdiction and control of the DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATI 1\
OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS; and
WHEREAS, an individual working permit must be obtained from the Department
of Transportation prior to any of the afòresaid installations being constructed
either by the Village of Mount Prospect or by a private person or firm under
contract and supervision of the Village of Mount Prospect.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE 1\1A YOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEE
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Village of Mount Prospect hereby pledges its good faith
and guarantees that all work shall be performed in accordance with the conditio s
of the permit to be granted by the Department of Transportation; and to hold the
¡State of Illinois harmless on account of any damaages that may occur to persons
lor property during the prosecution of such work, and assume allliability for
I am ages to persons or property due to accidents or otherwise by reason of the
ork which is to be performed under the provisions of said permit.

ECTION TWO: That all authorized officials of the Village of Mount Prospect are
ereby instructed and authorized to sign said working permit on behalf of the
il1age of Mount Prospect. -
ECTION THREE: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect following
ts passage and approval in the manner provided by Jaw.
